Moroccan furniture are elegantly crafted from fine hardwoods or simple rustic designs of common woods. Either way, furniture are low and heavy set and very often include accents of tile, iron or marble.

Color is most important in the Moroccan style. Deep midnight blues and brick reds make a wonderful arrangement for a front room, or if you prefer something more mellow mix try yellow and natural, earth colors like brown or sahara sand, reminiscent of a sandy desert.

Moroccan furniture decor is unique with rich engravings. Tables, chairs, shelves are engraved with rustic designs. These designs are also colored with rich colors like orange/red, curcuma and blue.

The materials that are commonly used for furnishing purpose includes rich cloth material (silk, crape). This gives the furniture a rich, royal look. You needn't to furnish every furniture piece. Chairs can be decorated with brilliant engravings that easily compensate for the absence of furnishing.
